> Spinout.fyi is the open database for university spinouts. Spinout.fyi seeks to empower university inventors to form spinouts from their research. We host the largest open dataset on spinout deal terms that is crowdsourced from hundreds of spinouts around the world. This dataset brings transparency for future founders and is used by policymakers, universities, investors and funders to revamp the spinout playbook. We provide transparency through curated data, editorial analysis, and founder-first guidance.
